Good price - keep in mind that there's no mop feature or LiDAR for those unfamiliar. Also, the app really sucks imo. I own two roombas and a Samsung jet bot. I haven't and will never again buy another roomba after experiencing how well LiDAR works.

I need the bigger battery regular j7+ dies on my floor plan. Even the roborock s7maxv gets down to almost 30% (forces recharge at 20%) after vacuuming run

Yes, roomba puts ridiculously small batteries in their vacuums. Takes about7 hours to do my main floor where the Wyze vac gets it done in 2.5.

Based on rtings reviews of robot vacuums, I bought a Roborock. Glad I checked there — ended up canceling prior orders and getting something with really good reviews

Really? That's a top-3 complaint about the Roomba for me. Spends so much time charging. Makes getting lost, etc even more frustrating using up that previous battery life per charge.
Still, the carpet cleaning is pretty nice.

The j8+ battery is double the j7+, so 150 minutes. Also it comes with four dirt disposal bags instead of just 2.
For context, 3 bags are $16 on Amazon for name brand. The real difference is do you want that extra battery life (110 minutes vs 85 according to rtings) and the generous Costco return policy for 25% more. It takes longer to charge naturally as well.

I picked this up on a Walmart deal a month or so ago. I had a 960 that would get stuck in one place all the time and I replaced it with this and it has never got stuck. It will show you pictures of areas it questions and you can tell it to skip the area, ignore the issue or state it's a one time issue. It also has a camera made to avoid pet mistakes.
I love this vacuum.
