For me, $3 is well worth if for the time saved by having it in an organized format, and more importantly that it is a well-vetted list. Reviews look solid, so I'm in.
I have the hard copy version of this, received as a gift due to being the most enthusiastic camper in the family. The best use case of the book is dreaming/learning about adventuring in parts of the US that you are not familiar with. I'm from MN and I am not super impressed with the book's choices near me, so take the recommendations with a grain of salt. I agree with the other posts that online research (google/TripAdvisor/YouTube) is a better method to research and compare. The 2nd use case for this book is for the coffee table—it's just something interesting to peruse. The descriptions of nature are nice. I probably wouldn't get this as an ebook unless you really like dreaming about camping in other parts of the US.

No comments FP???

Why is this FP... Seriously? You can save yourself $3 by just googling it. You will find some great websites, blogs, Instagram accounts, and YouTube channels that will give you all this information for free. (along with lots of photos and videos)

Save your $3.

It's back up to $9 now, I guess OOS, or the equivalent for an electronic book.
