I don't get all the comments about the design. Spyder makes clothes for the USA national ski teams, thus the jacket. It's no different than wearing a USA soccer jersey or something. Im hardly a 'murica rules type, but are we really at the point that anything that says USA on it is offensive?

Wow, there are some real negative comments. I have the men's version of this jacket, and it is of excellent quality, and it's thicker than other Spyder down jackets that I own. For $30 I thought what the hell and gave it a shot. I'm not wearing it to work or church, but for running to a store, I'm not sure what the problem is with it. It's a great deal, and I don't mind the design or the fact that it says USA on it. The one thing I will say - I'm an adult male. I have a teen kid. I would not buy this for a kid. The reason is due to the fact that it says USA on it, and that could cause the person wearing it to be a target of hate, which could lead to violence (which is very sad but true). I personally take pride in our country (I also happen to be a veteran), but many others unfortunately do not feel the same way.

Bought one of the men's ones too. Besides the assault on the eyes, it's incredibly warm (as you'd expect from a 600 weight down jacket) and very comfortable.

My wife got this jacket and we got a bunch of other stuff last time this jacket was this price. It's really soft and warm for how light it is. People mentioned the iron on letters falling off in the wash/dryer. Anyone get this jacket and have any luck speeding up the removal of the letters without damaging the jacket?

I bought the men's version of this a couple months ago and it's been by far the warmest coat that I've ever owned. I live in the Midwest and we have some really cold days and it was great. They're made really well. At first I thought I didn't like the looks of it but I work at the airport and I have had so many compliments. I thought people would actually make fun of it, but they loved it. Well worth this price.
