I'm glad others had good experiences, my kids managed to break parts of the frame. Husband added a metal bracket, and it's ok for the most part, but it doesn't seem like it's made for long term use.
Both my kids have had this bed for the past five years. It's been taken apart through two moves during that time. The frame is still great and in good condition

Bought two of these used for my kids some years back. Still going strong. Only weak point for us has been the slats - probably from walking on the bed. But nothing some wood glue and clamping couldn't solve.
Lets hope your insurance provider isnt reading this nor do they find out you have an elevated sleeping platform designed to be occupied by children.
A single fall from these and they'll own the house.
It's actually designed to support up to 220# and the mattress is 6'2" long, which, unless you are tall, muscular or overweight, includes pretty much any adult.
Also, bunk beds are allowed in AirBNBs, so I see no issue here. At most you might get a bad review if you don't properly inform that these are the sleeping arrangements in your listing.

Very popular bed for Ikea hacks.
