That's because this is not a gaming laptop.
It's a creator laptop with some moderate gaming capabilities.

Just my blurb about this laptop:

I have a Razer 15 3070, MBP16 i9, MBP16 M1 Pro, Asus G14, G15, and M16 and owned several laptops as a hobby... The Build quality on this is very good. Maybe just a notch below Razer but par or better than Asus. It looks way way better in person than in photos. The contrast of the trackpad makes it look weird in photos.

Screen is to absolutely die for, content looks amazing. It's really the whole point of this machine. It's a unique 16:10 4k OLED that blows me away. Will play COD MWII at 60fps on most settings High at 4k with DLSS. 60hz is fine at 4k because most games this year won't run much faster than that at 4k on high settings. Very easy to upgrade the RAM and there's 2 NVME slots. Wish it had at least 1 USB-A but whatever, it comes with a very nice port adapter. The speakers are pretty meh but no PC comes close to Apple on speakers for some reason.

Flashed mine from 105w to 130w on the GPU, works perfect without even a repaste. Just google it and its very straight forward.

People complaining about the heat... have you ever tried a 3060+ laptop before? They all, all run hot and this is about par.

Fan works perfectly fine for me but I used the GB software to tame the fans a bit. Body can handle the heat of a watt upgrade.

Lots of posts on improving battery life, the culprit is their GCC control software.

gee, knowing how terrible 4070 mobile does vs 3070ti, this is a great deal if you want a macbook like windows computer. I kind of regret getting the 16gb/1tb version last year for a bit more than this. Very good machine but just be aware of heat/noise/crappy control software from gigabyte.

Decent specs but no number pad on a 16-in laptop. That's very bizarre. If I hadn't bought the Lenovo I would have been curious about this but that totally kills the deal for me.

I just took a deeper look and oh my gosh, total lack of ports. there are zero old school USB ports on this machine. I think this is why I didn't like their previous model also. my current Lenovo has almost every port used regularly so I can't imagine using a device that has so few. docks are great but it's nice to just have the ports built in.

Oh, is this a toned down 1070? I saw that it was 105 watts and I think the normal one is 130?

yeah, this is the 105 watt model - which can out paced in certain games by a full wattage 3060. there's a chance that you can probably flash this to a higher watt model but i don't know if the thermals would be in check.

What other options are there for a 4K HDR500 certified OLED without all the fancy specs? Would love to have a screen like that for couch surfing and media consumption.

I can't find a ton of reviews, but the ones I do see on Amazon are pretty rough...

Yeah, this machine doesn't seem to make sense. Not a good recommendation for a gamer and overpriced for most other people.

Laptop configuration, purpose (gaming, creative, etc.) is a muddled mess. So confusing and high risk to buy something misleading

I got excited for a very brief moment about this deal, then saw they kneecapped the GPU with a 105w power rating. What a shame.

seems nice price for 4k OLED. I wish there would be thinkpad for that much.
