As tempting as this deal may appear, do yourself a favor and research the CPS warranty. If this was an All-State warranty or comparable, I would bite.

I just received my 77" c2 from this deal last time it was up a few weeks ago. Came in original packaging, plastic still on screen, 0 hours screen time.

I'm in the market for a C2 77" but am second guessing spending $2k-ish on a TV that won't last more than 5 years. Is it an unrealistic expectation to buy a 10 year TV these days? Feeling burned after my TCL 6 series died after 4.5 years and willing to invest this money for quality of screen and life but not just for screen. I know there are no guarantees but maybe there are reviews out there that have evaluated longevity likelihood

What constitutes a factory refurbished unit? Is the bezel and housing replaced; screen replaced; any defects visually defects expected?

CPS says if they can't fix, they will pay the market value of the TV. LoL!! Confused

Your best bet would be to ask LG directly.
A refurbished unit could mean anything, from an issue with the exterior plastic needing replacement, to a failed panel/processor being replaced.

Agreed it's not worth the extra bit of savings for a high priced C2 to get a refurbished

Best Buy outlet is supposed to be having a big open box deal going on. Some people are saying they have been able to get some TVs that have no hours on it.

A TV that last 10 years. Yeah they don't make those anymore. Not good for the TV business having TV last that long.

My current TV is from 2006. Sadly I don't think I'll ever get that again.

My 65" LG B7 from 2017 stop working properly last summer. The greens are overly green and skin tones etc don't display properly.

What typically fails on modern TVs? I still have a Samsung F8500 plasma from 2013 still going strong.

They are just cheaply made now. Even the likes of Sony and Samsung don't make tvs like they did in the past. It's all about selling TVs. You can't sell TVs if they never break

Wont last more than 5 years? What do you do with your tvs? Play ping pong on it?

I have a first gen lg oled still going strong over five years later
