everything with TF is a gamble.
It can all go to zero, or one go to zero, or in the very slight chance, it actually added both up.

I am new to HSN and Tracfone. I require a spare phone and number after May and was wondering if such deals come time to time or if I should jump in now and activate the device later.

Just remember that it's possible Verizon could change policy at any time now that they own TF - just like they recently did by lowering the value of Rewards pts for adding new lines.
No warning at all.
There's also the possibility something could be wrong with phone or plan doesn't get added correctly - HSN only has 30 days to return so you'd be stuck with it.

Well, the tax on HSN is like $9+ dollars. So, the $10-off coupon is basically pointless. 👎

My current Tracfone 365 day plan expires mid April. Should I get this deal and wait until the current plans almost expires and then activate to combine existing and new in order to keep existing TracFone number that I currently have? Thanks.

You activate now, keeping current number. New plan combines with old plan & extends service - been doing it for years with these cheap bundles.
