Of course. When it comes to push-the-edge performance, towers beat laptops hands down.

Plenty of reasons to have a tower, if you don't understand why somebody needs one then that is simply a reflection of your lack of knowledge in the topic. The flip phone comparison is irrelevant and dumb.

I'm interested in trying out the keyboard tray, but the 19" depth is way too short for a computer desk.

I have one just like this and it's pretty wobbly ... like when you're typing the monitor will move. Not a lot, but can be annoying ...

The 3 tiered design is interesting to me, not sure how I'd like that.
Also interesting that SD cleaned up most of the racist shit about made in...

My point wasn't PC vs laptop, it was they still make PCs in towers? Last computer I had was just a little box and that was 10-12 years ago.

It's 23. The PC shouldn't be a tower. Being a smug jackass about an outdate tech design is stunning. It's like defending flip phones from 20 years ago.

Yes. Those little boxes suffer from the same problems as a laptop. Insufficient space for huge heatsinks (both cpu and gpu), ventilation and fans.

There even are water cooled and oil cooled tower PCs that some avid gamers use (mostly custom build)
