I don't want to be the pessimist here but if regional grocery deals with rewards and points start showing up in SD, it's going to be a mess.
It is a Slick Deal but every grocery store has slick deals like this
Please make a grocery section here if this trend continues.
Wait, this is where are now with Slickdeals? Should I start posting weekly Kroger deals? I mean, this week Kroger has 1lb strawberries for $1.88 and half hallon milk at $1.29 if that's what we are doing now.
Yep, these shouldn't be posted. My Jewel/Albertsons has strawberries for .99 this week with coupon. Every local store has their own deals all the time.

Better than seeing all those crappy Amazon deals on the front page. Food is actually useful, the junk deals on on cell phone cases and USB chargers are not.

I wonder what's up with Strawberries this week. I was all set to buy a pound at Aldi for $1.79 each, then I was at the Asian grocery store earlier and they had these really nice red strawberries on Manager's Special for $1.29 a pound.

Must have a surplus this week or something. In like November there was a shortage and I paid like $5 a pound once.

Not a great price for shrimps or even for tall people.

They do post Kroger deals here already. But since Kroger isn't in Ca, harder to get to FP.

I am surprised that such a locally limited selection of these stores having this deal is getting to the FP. Must be lots of Ca peeps here.

Vons/Safeway is very tricky when it comes to their $5 lb Shrimp Friday Sale. The best Pre-Covid used to be 16-20 Peeled and Deveined. They have it nowadays once in a while for $7 lb.

Now they advertise with Shell-On to confuse people, or smaller sizes such as 30-40-50.
Your $4.99 lb this week is 21-25 Shell-On. It's decent, but I prefer 31-40 Peeled if same price.
Agreed, I totally forgot that it was used to be "peeled" back pre-covid era, but that's just a personal preference.

Either peeled or shell-on is fine for me (peel the shell off before cooking), since this brand, shrimps are all devined & cleaned, and pretty "fresh".

I think a couple weeks ago, the 16-20 was $5/lb Friday deal. Regardless, IMO any size (16-20 / 21-25) for $5/lb is a deal to me. I can't really get the same deal from other supermarkets

Haa haa true. I have some 422 coupons available in Kroger. Probably will start posting 422 threads and hope to make it to FP (which may happen with such Mods).

Winco has 1lb of Strawberries for $.95 - I'm eating some right now. I grabbed them because they've been $2.75-4.00 the last few months, and that doesn't fit in the grocery budget.
