Listen to this yeti. Even at our local hospital, all of the staff wear the ones with holes because of this even though it is technically not sanitary. You are basically encasing your feet in rubber, which is fine if you are sitting but if you hustle at all then it will be sweaty.

These make sense on paper but unless I was forced to wear them for sanitary reasons, then I would never wear these.

A side note on the regular ones. Don't wear them with socks you love. I have used three pairs now and they all wear out the soles of my socks quickly. I think it is because of the rubber bumps meant to add grip. Just use your cheaper socks.
No holes = super sweaty feet
I work at a hotel and this version is a requirement.
This is bistro version means that it is certified for kitchen with non slip bottom.
No holes because of accident liquid spills in the kitchen is dangerous.. imagine hot oil

Even with holes they're unbearably sweaty. Donated mine after a month.

I've been wearing these at work since the Mario Batali version many years ago. I wear merino wool socks with them and can't say that they are any worse than regular shoes. They don't slip on wet surfaces so I'm a huge fan. That said, the tie dye is hideous, hence the price.

Never had that issue with this model…but then again it's not like I jog in them or anything. Prefer this model over the classic variation mostly because of the nonslip underside. I've had an issue with crocs getting slippery (especially on wet and/or smooth surfaces) after they wear down a bit. Almost busted my ass on a few drops of water in Walmart because of this. Don't have that issue with the bistro. My dad prefers models without holes for a different reason: gardening. Hes a senior who drags his feet a bit, and the crocs clogs with holes that he tried introduced a lot of dirt into the shoe while he's gardening.

These crocs deserve to be worn with socks.

This! Have used the Mario Batali and the regular bistro for years. Wore with merino socks to wick away moisture. Found these to be very comfortable and the slip resistance better than many others I've tried throughout the years.

I got the Mario Batali one 5-6 years ago when it was clearance for $9. I've used it exclusively for grilling, camping and campfires. They work great for me for those reasons, but socks are definitely required.
