How does one go about learning how to play this? I bought it in high school when it came out and was totally lost at the time since I had zero serious RPG experience.

Best game ever written.
Works best with a bootleg PDF of AD&D 2nd Edition Player's Handbook so that it makes any sense at all.

I rather Baldur's Gate was tied to my Steam or GOG library instead since I prefer not to install the Prime Gaming app on my PC, but I guess it is what it is.

Maybe they manually add your original content later as a post? To me it seems like a automated process when some deals are combined in this way. Perhaps identical URL's flag something? Just guessing of course.
