It very clearly states "Each" on the website.

This speaker did well subjectively and really quite well objectively for the price class (when on sale)at Soundstage HiFi.
Here is the subjective take

Here are the objective measurements from the NRC Anechoic chamber

Was looking at the RP8000s but their twice as much. Are they twice as better as these? Will it be a massive difference?

The rubberized cone design in the RP-8000 series subdues the highs... but in my opinion not enough to justify the cost over these. And it's almost entirely a non-issue if you can EQ it away anyways.

Perfect timing! I just upgraded my avr and during setup noticed 2 speakers (all satellite type) that likely have a broken tweeter. Add to that my desire to eventually upgrade to towers, so this was win win for me.

Thank you!!

Better to buy a good bookshelf Vs this. Can get a pair keg bookshelf pair for 300
I bought both klipsch and KEF two weeks back. They are completely different species in terms of sound characteristics. But I returned KEFs and kept 820f

I know this is a very common question but ultimately no one can answer that for someone else.
The sound we hear is completely subjective and when you add the cost of that difference, it becomes exponentially more complicated.

The R line is Klipsch's entry level line, the RP is the next level up.

IMO most people would agree the RP line would sound better, if they listened to them side by side.

Having heard both my impression, the main difference is the bright/harshness of them.
IF you prefer the sound of Klipsch but find them slightly too bright, the 8000's may be worth the extra cost.

I would disagree that you can EQ the R line to sound like the RP line.

As someone who has owned Reference, Reference Premiere, and now RF-7 III's, I can wholly agree with supermanrob on this.

Reference will get your foot in the door, but they're not really a long term solution once you properly demo the next levels up.

RP line can be something you'll be content with for a longer time period without the itch to upgrade. Much less ear fatigue from longer listening sessions as well. The harsh highs are no joke in the standard Reference line.

I had Reference for a long time though and really enjoyed them until I learned and demoed other options. Ignorance is bliss.

The first generation RP-600M bookshelf (currently $349 in piano black on Amazon through Acoustic Sound Design, an authorized Klipsch dealer) would be a much better solution in this price range, IMO. Paired with an entry level 12" sub you can have a really decent 2 channel setup.

I had the r625 FAs last year I sold them. I loved the sound and the look but not the "rugged screw look" of the Reference line. I went with the Sonos are last year and while it was good it was defiantly not as good as the Klipsch.

I really do like the look of the RP line, and the 8000s. However I haven't been able to see them in person.
