Phenomenal headset with memory foam. I've had this for 4 years and still my go to after owning 3 others. Must buy at this price!

Really good headset, but had to return it because it was too small.
If you have big head like me I recommend going with Hyperx Alpha even though it is more expensive

It says wired, but manual on Amazon shows wireless adapter and that USB cord is just used for charging.

I just want something to use for work conference calls, that plugs in directly via USB.
This one uses 3.5mm and USB for the control box. The manual you were looking at is probably for a different model.

How it is compared with the logitech PRO X? Which would be better?
Logitech is better in everything except microphone and build quality. Also more expensive.

I have the Cloud Stinger S from a previous SD as well as a large head and it fits fine and has been comfortable. Assuming this is similar, I'm tempted to get this one and relegate the Cloud Stinger S to a backup role in case this breaks, I need to use a headset almost daily.

Edit: caved to temptation, ordered from HP because cashback was available and I'm not in a rush. Looking forward to the upgrade.
Stinger is made for larger heads. I tried them at the store and it's definitely bigger and more comfortable then cloud core. Even though it's made from cheaper materials.

Ah, ok. Well I'll try it out when I get it, if it doesn't fit I guess I'll return it.

How are these for music? I like quite a bit of bass.

I bought this from Amazon last time it was on sale for this price. I received the older version that has a splitter for the 3.5mm jack vs the USB sound card that is shown on the website. They gave me an option for a $6 and change refund or to return it.

Same thing happened to me. Mine finally came the other day from the last deal. Unless I'm missing something, these seem like complete garbage. No USB soundboard came. The box was listed as Xbox only. These sound whimpy when plugged into the controller. Not powered at all. Barely hear them when turned all the way up. Now I have to deal with a return. Ugh

It has a standard headphone jack that plugs into the little adapter for USB use. It works perfectly though...I use mine for work daily. Noise cancelling is great and everyone says the mic sounds clear.

Edit: Some of the links are not the same items. Some are the old model and some are new. Mine both came with the 7.1 surround adapter. It goes from the 3.5 mm headphone jack to the USB plug. The manual on Amazon is not the correct model. That is the currently $60+ one that is wireless.

This is the wired version that connects via 3.5 mm stereo connector. The manual on Amazon is for the cloud flight which is wireless, not for the one on sale here for 30.

Where are people seeing a USB dongle for this headset? The $30 version is wired via 3.5 mm only, there is no control box included. The 7.1 they advertise is via software only from a downloadable app. The version with a USB controller is wireless and is $70.
