Love everything but the pickups and where it's made.

I love the sound just not the style. An example, don't like the look of the Les Paul without pickup covers. Just not pleasing to the eyes for me. The guitar as a whole is beautiful and I'd pick one up if I had the money, but for preference I am not a fan of the look of the pickups.

Have to agree with you, not sure why p90s always have to look the same way either.

If you didn't like the sound I'd know for sure that you're an AI without a soul.

I have this guitar in white. I nabbed it at the beginning of the pandemic kind of on a whim. I had wanted a tele style with p90s and this was all I could find stock with that setup. At first I liked it but in the end I just couldn't bond with it. I think I just don't like the feel of the fretboard. I have been meaning to sell my as it has probably sat unplayed for over a year now.

I ended up getting a tele style with p90s from Richie's Guitars and it is fantastic.

I always felt the original early 2000s TC-90 was underappreciated. It was made in Korea if my memory serves and it had a very high build quality, set neck, finish, etc. But for some reason, Fender dealers could never sell them.

If this guitar interests you should keep an eye open for a G&L ASAT Junior. It's similar and although they only made 250 USA-built ones in the late 90s I think it's been reissued over the years and the imported ones can be had used for really good prices.

I have it in red, great guitar. Replaced tuners for self-locking, polished frets a bit. Great tone, unique look, very versatile.

you can buy P90 covers for $10 and up if you want to change the looks. they're fairly easy to replace yourself.

They're not made in Indonesia, they're "Crafted" in Indonesia

Because where they're made is mattering less and less.

Here Darrell Brauns review of it:

Set neck, Gibson scale length, seymour duncan p90 pickups, gibson les paul switch location, gibson style bridge...in a thinline tele!

I have the previous version (tc-90) these were based off of and really like it. It's a bizarre Fender take on a Gibson.
