The app alerts you to most maintenance that is just on a timer based on run time. There are a half dozen sensors that it asks you to wipe down every couple weeks so that takes about 30 second with a dry rag. The self clean mop pad area on the dock has a water filter on it that needs to be rinsed about once per month. You just pop it out, rinse it in the sink for a minute, then pop it back in.
Depending on who is in your home and their hair length you may need to remove hair from the roller every couple weeks or once a month. That takes about 2-3 minutes. You pop open the bottom cover, pull out the red roller, which has two gray ends where all the hair ends up. You unscrew those ends and the hair slide off that piece so it's really easy to do if hair doesn't gross you out (no need to try to cut it out or anything like my last robot vac).
Other than that it's mostly just dumping the dirty water and adding clean. Roborock also sells a special mop solution that we use on it. It seems overpriced at first glance but it turns out you only add a tiny cap full in each clean tank refill so it lasts probably 4-6 months depending how often you mop. We mop and vacuum probably 5x per week.
The only other maintenance I can think of is determined by how hard you work the thing. I have 3 small kids who always manage to leave things all over that sometimes get sucked up. The most recent was a full popsicle stick which managed to get sucked into the botz get sucked out into the auto empty dock, but got stuck where the dust bag connects to the dock. I noticed the bot was not emptying which is how I noticed. Soni just pulled off the bag, saw the popsicle stick stuck at the opening, pulled it out, then we were back in action. I had essentially the same experience a month ago when a half sheet of paper did the same thing, getting stuck at the bag and blocking the auto empty. If you don't let it suck up large things like that then it should not be an issue for you.
In summary I have probably spent maybe 30 minutes on routine maintenance described above the last two months. Definitely worth freshly mopped floors every day. I hope that helps.

I have an older Roomba and this sounds like an upgrade.
We have a cat and a dog but they are not heavy shedders. My wife and daughter have long hair. I setup a calendar reminder on Google to completely clean the rollers of my Roomba. So probably this Roborock will need something similar. I like to do that and it has kept my Roomba running for many years.
How much is this special solution? but yeah I agree that if it lasts 4-6 months you need to divide the cost over that long time.
The solution is like $19 for a 480ml bottle. So it comes out to 3-4 a month depending how much you mop. I honestly haven't noticed a difference in cleanliness with it than the week we didn't have it, but I like the thought of using more than just water.
Every once in a while I'll rinse it with hot water.
