Unbelievable price. How is the display and thermals? And if it runs hot...any way to bring those down by undercoating or anything? I won't need full power, but I'm afraid the cram on the 3050ti would cripple it. And I'm not sure if the 3050 runs cooler than the 3060 or not. Anyway, great find OP

I run an Acer Predator with a 3060, I think 135W max, and the computer runs no more hot than my 1660ti Acer Nitro. I assume the computer starts dialing it back if it senses a heat that is too extreme. I have a laptop riser with 3 large fans that runs off of USB, it was probably 30 dollars and does a great job spreading the heat as well if I am planning on playing for any longer than an hour let's say.
My guess is that you'll be just fine with this system.
Make sure that it's an easily upgradeable laptop. I had to dismantle my entire Alienware laptop just to change out the battery and I accidentally broke the wifi card.
To any owners of this laptop, would you let me know how many m.2 slot does this laptop have?
I purchased a Dell G16 and it has only 1 slot. My Acer Nitro 7 has 3 slots.

My guess is that you'll be just fine with this system.
Good specs mean nothing if your rig is overheating and your fps gets cut in half.

- 1080p looks worse on a 17"

Both have 720p webcams. I'd personally wait for a sale on the new m18.
