i was checking out the m17(ryzen with 6700m) and this..
My guess is that you'll be just fine with this system.
Good specs mean nothing if your rig is overheating and your fps gets cut in half.

- Plastic base
m17 R5:
- No Thunderbolt
- 1080p looks worse on a 17"
- Metal base
- Better thermals
- Huge
Both have 720p webcams. I'd personally wait for a sale on the new m18.
I purchased a Dell G16 and it has only 1 slot. My Acer Nitro 7 has 3 slots.
