I run an Acer Predator with a 3060, I think 135W max, and the computer runs no more hot than my 1660ti Acer Nitro. I assume the computer starts dialing it back if it senses a heat that is too extreme. I have a laptop riser with 3 large fans that runs off of USB, it was probably 30 dollars and does a great job spreading the heat as well if I am planning on playing for any longer than an hour let's say.

My guess is that you'll be just fine with this system.

Make sure that it's an easily upgradeable laptop. I had to dismantle my entire Alienware laptop just to change out the battery and I accidentally broke the wifi card.

I purchased a Dell G16 and it has only 1 slot. My Acer Nitro 7 has 3 slots.
