Are these any good? 100% of the solar path lights I buy stop working after 1-2 years; they either rust and fall apart or the battery stops recharging.
I've had Hampton Bay lights in the front and backyard for years (at least 4+ years). The trick is to replace the shoddy internal batteries with some good quality rechargeables like Ikea or the like. They will run for much longer and more reliably.

Solar lights are garbage. I just finished replacing mine with electric plug-in ones.. wish I'd never wasted my money.

Don't have any experience with these ones, but i have other lights from Costco that have worked for the past 2+ years. So, there are good solar lights out there. Also, with regards to rust, it depends upon weather(snow/salt), so I've heard recommendations to bring the fixtures inside, and turn them off/remove the batteries for the winter. If the batteries stop recharging, it could be the solar panel that needs to be cleaned, or the batteries themselves need to be replaced. Both are fairly easy to DIY.

The ones I got were the store brand from Walmart. They were on clearance for $5 each but worth full price imo. I got two since I have two outlets out front. Those two make more light than my 6 high end glass solars did (cleaning the glass sphere that protected the panel made no difference.)

These are nice. Same brand has been working for couple of years. Buy the metal ones. Of course in the winter the duration decreases.

I have good and bad ones. I've repaired quite a few. Usually, the bad ones are the ones that eventually get water or moisture inside. Poorly designed against the environment. Some had really loose connection, where it would just take a small bump and the wire is disconnected. The ones I have repaired and sealed good, haven't failed on me.

Cheap priced and high price are all the same imo, where quality may not be sufficient. You can be paying for the same quality of soldering. They have to do it fast….

I used to agree with that but I find the newer style (COB LED vs old school light-emitting diodes are a pretty good indicator) seem to last many many year compared to the old ones that that could never survive a rather mild NC winter.
