That's right. If you currently do not have Xbox GPU, you can buy the 12-month Xbox Live Gold at $60 (no VPN hack) or buy 4 of these, then convert to GPU at 1:1 rate.

If your GPU is expiring in a month or two, then you may as well wait and do the 12-month Xbox live gold to GPU at 1:1 conversion rate.

If your GPU is expiring in a year, then it's up to you whether you want to pay $5.8/month now to extend it, or hope for 1:1 conversion deal will still be available in 2024.

I remember when these were $6 and I bought like 8 of them, redeemed each one for 4 months Xbox live gold, then converted it all to game pass essentially paying $65 for Gamepass for 3 years 😎

Probably? I did that about half a year ago, might still work? Also don't forget to enable automatic billing when u redeem the 3 month, it may give u 4 months like it did for me.. then turn it off again before redeeming another code 🤓

you will have to pay for a full month at $14 instead of $1 but the conversion still works.

Yes, I re-upped a few months ago after my original couple years of gold version expired. As others have said, you have to pay $14 for that first month, but still well worth it.

This was exactly what I did. I took a risk and bought them from cdkeys a few months before my GPU expired and was pleasantly surprised that all the codes all still worked. Xbox had some deal at the time where if you turned on auto-renew with a 3mo purchase they give you an extra month so you just had to toggle it on & off with each 3mo add. Now that was a hot deal (although if I'm being honest with myself, I still play PS5 more...).
