The Wirecutter writes: "The Anova Precision Cooker Nano was our previous top pick, and at the time we praised it for its small size, quiet operation, Bluetooth connectivity, great app, and moderate price. Unfortunately, in our latest round of testing using a new sample unit of the Nano, we were surprised to find that it was the loudest and highest-pitched circulator we testedā€”loud enough to be annoying from across the house. The app, redesigned since our last update of this guide in 2019, was also more frustrating to use than its predecessor. The pairing process was a struggle, requiring us to close and reopen the app several times to get a connection, and we were never able to get push notifications working on either Android or iOS. Perusing recent customer reviews, we learned that we were not alone in our dislike for the cooker's sound or app experience. Similar to most of the other circulators we've tested, it cooks food just fineā€”we just don't think the subpar user experience is worth dealing with."

Cooking 2 meats at different temps is a great idea. My Anova 1.0 from 2015 is still going strong, but had to pull the trigger on this sweet deal. I also spent $29 on a Rubbermaid 12L and lid for my old setup. This Nano deal is 1/3 the price of what I paid back in 2015. Slick!

I'm in the same boat: still rocking the original Anova One, and a Rubbermaid container with lid (but only the 8L). However, I did have an issue with the power receptacle after about a year and had to do some minor surgery on it to replace the part (luckily it was a common off-the shelf part, but I was so surprised on how poorly the it was put together -- dare I say a fire hazard). Anyway, it's been working fine since, but decided to jump in on this deal -- too good to pass up and I'll probably second-hand my current unit to my sister.

I actually use the original ANOVA, I am on my last one though. I have a spare precision and a nano.

but once my old ANOVA dies, I will be using the precision. I use the nano for eggs and quick cooks, the stacker is amazing for bigger cooks and longer ones. holds temp amazingly. especially for pork shoulders a d briskets
