If you're just planning on mostly just streaming stuff on it, maybe downloading a few videos for offline viewing, and playing a few games, I think 64gb is fine. If you'd like to load it up with several videos and games, I agree that more space is needed.

Tempted but I really hate that chonky non-laminated screen. I still don't understand why Apple didn't move to the Air 2 frame and screen instead of keeping the OG Air. It can't be that much more and the user experience is so much better. There's a reason the Air 2 replaced it so quickly.

64GB is enough for a basic user. But 128GB would be a perfect place to start. I think Apple does this so people not sure about the 64GB have to jump to 256GB.

$250 for a 2 year old tablet with 64gb doesn't sound like a great deal. Apple really excels at cheating their fans.

Cause its the cheap model, used by schools, and makes it a cheap repair when the kids break the screen.

We got a second android tablet for the kids last holiday. The other one was less than 2 years old. New one came with a newer OS that wasn't available on the old one. Almost all the apps we bought didn't work on the new one. We switched everything to apple after that. Android apps are garbage shovelware. So much bloat on the phones too.
