While not the worst price, we've seen deals for 32 inch 144/165hz IPS displays now for roughly the same price, namely the hp x32 just this past holiday season. So if you prefer color over deeper blacks, you might want to look into ips over a VA panel. All that said, LG source great panels and are in my experience less likely to have stuck or dead pixels out of the box, and they also do professional color calibration on them before they ship them, which is a neat little bonus. With a costco return policy, hard to go wrong even if you'd just like to try it out.
