Costco is clearing out their stock at a great price. Found this price online. Warehouse pricing may be different.

I don't see why not. It will just take long time to heat up initially. Amazon review points out a few things like the pot can stain and should be handwashed. Rim of the lid and pot are not enameled; reports of rusting (apply oil to prevent rusting).
That being said. 100 for this seems like a gold deal. I'm contemplating
edit: I bet this thing can even sous vide! precision cooking, baby!!!!

It has a sear setting for higher heat, used mostly in prepping your meats/ingredients.
It also is cast iron pot insert, while most slow cookers are crock-style inserts.
For me, if it had a good 'Lodge' quality cast iron pot insert, rather than a questionable Chinese cast iron insert, I'd be real interested.
That's the main deal-breaker for me.

I've been cooking on cast iron for 'many' decades. Most ppl don't realize that all cast iron is not the same and the qualities of it can differ greatly.

Actually, the Lodge enameled cast iron is made in China. It's their un-enameled cast iron that is still made in the US.
