Nice case. If I didn't go for the similar NZXT case for $200 (comes with AOI and riser too) last week would have jumped on this.

Bought it for the power supply and it's a SFX-L. Not a regular SFX. REALLY sucks because I figured it would be a good way to get a much needed SFX PS but sadly it was not. Not very happy about it. Case is pretty damn big but the fact you can put a radiator in it is nice.
Does it make a difference sfx-L vs regular sfx, i thought they were just different sizes?

The case I was going to put the PS into was only compatible with a SFX power supply.

You can put an SFX in a case designed for SFX-L, but not the other way around.

they are. but it some cases that makes all the difference. some cases support sfx-l and some do not. i bought this case last year for the same price and the deal pops up here regularly, so they've been on sale for this price for a while. just a few tips for anyone considering it or have already purchased. if youll be using a downdraft cpu cooler, you'll likely get better temps by setting all fans as exhaust. also, if youll be using an 80mm fan itll likely have to be a slim fan.

Sony should license out their PS5 case design to earn extra money. Would be hilarious if a case maker releases an ATX and ITX sized case that looks just like the PS5. I'd be down for one.

That sucks. But I'd have expected it as retailers always short you on parts to increase profit.
That guy is just complaining because he didn't do his research. Many SFF cases have been built around SFX-L as the demand for compact gaming builds have increased. 10 years ago, the most powerful SFX PSU was like 450W. I bought a bottom-basement SFF case + PSU combo and it was like a 250W unit since people ran LP, non-external power GPUs in ITX platforms (or they used full sized ATX in chunky cases).

SFX-L then became the standard for >500W PSUs due to extra heat = more noise with 80mm fan vs 120mm, and that really launched the explosion in SFF case design as the larger power ceiling allowed for more enthusiast interest for say a GTX 1080 in a 10L case with a 500W SFX-L PSU. For reference, Silverstone only came out with their 700W SFX (non-L) PSU in 80+ Gold in 2019, but the 700W SFX-L came out in 2016. Now they have a 1000W SFX-L!

Pretty amazing price for a case WITH an SFX-L powers supply... too bad the case is fugly.
Actually I really like the case design; it has very small desktop footprint and looks pretty inconspicuous. Similar to the NXZT H1, which I own.

I was able to put together a completely new build, unbeknown to my wife who sees it all the time. Inside, 3080TI, and 12700K. Had to spend nearly as much on the case on aftermarket cooling but in the end, still a very low profile , low footprint powerhouse

I find it to be uglier than the PS4. They were all squares since the original, I find it to be more aesthetically pleasing on the shelf with the square cases/etc

Buy a PS5, rip it open and build a custom one
