"I bought a 240GB OCZ Agility 3 a few months ago for $260. I'm loving how cheap they're starting to get. And just as somebody else mentioned before, I'm never letting my OS run on a standard HDD ever again."
$0.82 per GB during the time that article was written, down from $1.00, some holding for $0.65.
2023: 4TB Sandisk Ultra 3D SATA SSD: $230.00/4000 = $0.057/GB
the lack of dram will put the other drives down to 80mbitps which is super slow to max bandwidth of sata which is 550mbit
