I used a similar (but older and IMO uglier) version of this mainstays desk for years in both college and my first remote job. Assuming you assemble it well, they are way sturdier than they have any right to be. I actually used one of these as a base for an IKEA style tabletop desk for ~1 year before finally replacing it with some filing cabinets recently.

Currently using a furrino laptop desk which looks a bit similar. Although the Amazon one uses plastic poles for connecting shelves and the cork board wood looks thinner
