I got two last time. I was able to pull a 2 seats child bike trailer and go uphill, slow but do able. And I can hook up a single child seat to it also.
For the price you can't find anything this good. Costco replacement of this is very easy, they will ship and have ups pick it up for you.
P.S. the combined weights of trailer+2 kids+me is more than 260 lbs

Are you kidding? If we have that kind of self-control, our houses would not be filled with all the great purchases that we never use.

BTW, thanks for the advice. I almost order one even though I live on a steep hill

This is a great scooter! Got one for my elderly Mom since she doesn't drive anymore. She's able to do errands and feel much more independent! It's low and seated so easy to put feet down if needed.

Haha! When I saw this I thought this would be a good way to introduce a friend with no ridding experience who says "I'll start out on a R1" to ridding when ya don't want to let them ride your bike as a tester. Here ya go buddy! Just like the real thing but cheaper!

43lbs? Its about 10lbs more than a Jetson bike which honestly seems to share a lot of same parts and about same specs.

Reviews also claim that its not waterproof

Isn't the Jetson only 350W? I have a Jupiter x5 also from Costco. Identical weight to this scooter but wondering if the the extra 100W of power would make this a worthwhile upgrade

Did it come with certificate of origin? In my state no pedals no bike, so I would have to register it under moped laws and plate it. Also I'm pretty sure this is capable of going 21mph plus. Limiter is probably a wire on the controller, TBH I really don't need it I have 4 bafang hub motors lying around with controllers, I just been having bad luck finding decent throttles and bikes with brake placement or gearshifts that do get in the way,
