I got two last time. I was able to pull a 2 seats child bike trailer and go uphill, slow but do able. And I can hook up a single child seat to it also.
For the price you can't find anything this good. Costco replacement of this is very easy, they will ship and have ups pick it up for you.
P.S. the combined weights of trailer+2 kids+me is more than 260 lbs

Do you mind showing me where and how you use the single child seat? This seems safer and easier to get a baby/child around in fair weather than a bike or car

you need something similar to this for child seat which can tie down to the front.

No you'll be happy. Nothing bring more happiness than to hear your child laugher. My kids love riding the scooter with me daily. I may look silly with over protective gears and add-on for the scooter but safety is the first priority.

Oh make sure you get rear view mirror, bike alarm and additional rear light for the trailer.

Just look at the Amazon link I provided. You can mount the child seat front or behind. I prefer the front one since you can always see your kid when riding the scooter. You can also mount both front and back but I feel like this scooter not strong enough for that. This why I got the trailer for towing instead of carrying all that weight on the frame.
