Microcenter discount when purchased with CPU. If you don't have an MC nearby, I'd spring the extra $40 bucks for the 6950XT that can be had straight from AMD.

Given AMD is dropping current gen GPU prices and the 7900XT is down to $799 with 2x the computing power and 20GB VRAM, 6900/6950XT won't be able to sustain the current price.

Man. I bought my XFX Speedster Quik RX 6700 XT Black for $30 less than this last year. Hell at the time I thought it was a bargain because before that it was between the $800-$1000 level depending on brand and this card had a premium price over lesser card due to cooling solutions. Now I kind of wish that I had waited and had the better card for a bit more but now my situation is not like it was then and I wouldn't have either. I would love to have this or a 6800 XT but now it may be a better buy to get a Intel A770 and wait for the coding in the drivers to mature. I'd love to have that 16GB VRAM for under $300. Even with 12 on my card some games have crept up on my VRAM limit.The 7900XT and XTX still require a hefty upgrade price to get the full benefit. For those that aren't in the position to pay for a new MB, RAM, and CPU this might be a bit more economical.

The upscaler doesn't seem to work super well, so while it's a neat feature, many think it's just not as worth. Additionally, I've given up on Nvidia Broadcast, because while it mostly works, every so often I encounter random errors. For instance, without a heavy GPU load, there's random intermittent popping on audio output from Nvidia Broadcast. The *only* upside I can legitimately give it is locally run Machine Learning applications, like your own version of Stable Diffusion and the like. If you *only* game, the 6900 XT is perfectly good. The 7900 XT is $150 more now and pretty good for extra performance but if it's out of your budget, the 6900 XT is a solid choice. Competes pretty well with the 3090/3080 Ti, just more VRAM than the 3080 Ti. Wouldn't recommend 40- series Nvidia at the moment, just very overpriced. If money is no object and you can find one, 4090 is the best in basically all tasks though. Only a handful of games where the 7900 XTX starts to catch up, generally at lower than 4K resolution though.

DO NOT BUY FROM FENNEC INC
via amazon. spend the little extra and purchase directly from amazon. Purchased the 7900 xtx from fennec received a used asus videocard sent it back per amazon now running in circles. amazon states a did not send the correct card back. well duh. and they say they disposed of the card i sent them. now I am out over $1100 bucks.
fennec inc leads to a house address in california. No response on any phone numbers listed for company.

Price and sellers aside this is a fantastic card capable of driving some serious pixels. It is huge though so check your case specs.
