I'm in your camp. I've switched to zero. But to be fair, just a few years ago, 12mm was the norm.

Anything between 4 – 6mm is acceptable to me. The problem with Brooks is that their approach to shoe design seems outdated. It would be nice if they had more low drop options. I think they only have two, the Hyperion Tempo and the Caldera.

I think this is an extreme minority that might actual cause some beginning runners to wonder if they are doing what is correct. Hint: run with what makes you most comfortable, regardless of stack height, 0mm drop, midsole etc. Just do what helps you.. I have zero issues with zero drop but if you go to any event from 5k to Marathon or Ultra you see95% of runners wearing 8 to 12 mm drop shoes. Look at shoes sales as an example it is not just a majority It is a vast majority.
