Love Keens but fall apart quickly with moderate use.

True to size, perhaps a tiny bit on the smaller side if any.

Keens might be more expensive, even on sale, but they last forever. My last pair were 8 years old and lost on a trip, otherwise they were going strong

Sweet, am in desperate need of a new pair of hikers. Went up a half size/Targhee II's, since my Bearpaws are giving me toe issues when hiking downwards.
Got an extra $10 off from spinning the wheel upon visiting the site & providing my email/no need to put in cell# for texting, the code goes to email within a few minutes. Plus 5% CB from a reputable source. Thanks OP.

The Keen Targhee II mid-boot is so comfortable that I use it as my everyday shoes, even with my office casual. The sole is softer rubber and tends to wear out faster than I like. I reinforce it with shoe goo to make it last longer. Had a sole separation once and it was repaired with shoe goo. Not sure if I would be happy with a separation in the middle of a hike.

It's great for office wear, how it is for hiking? It's very comfortable and confident on the trail. Took it to the Grand Canyon and hiked the South Rim to the river and back for 17 miles. Did a great job with a few blisters as expected when you go on steep trails. Didn't have any black toenail syndrome due to the wide toe box.

I wear Keen size 10 and I have 5 different steel toe style. Size 10 with a sock is just about perfect fit for me, not too tight not too loose. May be too tight with a thicker sock though. Nike, Adidas, Puma, Asics are all size 10.5.
On the other hand, some of those 5 styles that I have, constantly destroy left and right sock by making holes at the big toe. And no, cutting nails ever few days does NOT help. Mad
You should try Keen on at a shoe store, or order 2 sizes and return one that doesn't fit.

I'm not sure how I feel about these. The 10s seem almost too big (I'm a 9.5), plenty of space in the toe box. The soles don't feel sturdy enough, almost like I'd feel every rock. I was able to use my favorite inserts (Copper Fit Balance, instrumental for my plantar fasciitis) and still had plenty of space for a thicker sock. The only discomfort I felt was at the ankle, felt irritated, after only a few minutes. Almost scratchy, even though the inner ankle padding itself feels nice to the touch. Maybe because I tied it too tight to accomodate for the larger shoe. If I do decide to keep them & try them on a hike, I'll be packing a pair of sneakers, just in case there's any massive discomfort. Decisions, decisions...

i couldnt figure out how their price match 110% works for pre-purchase. it looks only to be post-purchase and then you hope they match it. Saw one of these for 20$ cheaper on Amazon and its fulfilled by Shoebacca ironically, so they lost a purchase from their site due to this. Reviews looked promising.
