If you're willing to spend a little more, you can get a 5060MT with i5-8600 [dellrefurbished.com], 256GB SSD and Windows 10 home for $200 after code YES2DELL5060. This one is officially supported by Windows 11. And it would probably make a decent entry-level gaming system with the addition of an appropriate video card. The SFF PCs aren't really suitable for gaming since there are few good half-height video cards.

Anyone interested in these should look on eBay for used Dell/HP because there are much better deals there. Been trying to sell a HP 800 elite G3 with a i7 and Nvme Samsung 980 512 with licensed 10 pro at $144 for weeks now. Also buying the sff and putting a 6400 init is questionable, that card is fairly week and still $140 used. A $100-150 tower/workstation (that has space a a larger factory psu) with whatever $100 card (like a 1660ti) would blow away the 6400.

Well, right now there is nothing worth buying - I suggest you to get at least 8th generation and 16GB when on sale for 50% off. Around Black Friday I've got 7060 ultra small with i7 and 16GB RAM , 500GB SSD for $180 incl. CA taxes. It came brand new with keyboard and mouse, it has WiFi and HDMI linked to 4K OLED at the moment. Looks and works fantastic, very very slick deal for a ultra small streaming HTPC

If you don't care about official w11 support, the 7050 is a fantastic box. I run a few of these boxes and having usb-c and hdmi ports is really nice. They are super quiet, user little power, and are built really well.

The SFF dells all use non-standard mobos/PSUs, right?

I can't buy one and stuff it in my existing HTPC case (mATX mobo) without issue.

5050 is the model, which is available in MFF, SFF and MT chassis. They may be out of the 5050 MFF if you weren't able to find it.

Correct, plus you wouldn't have the correct I/O shield. But the SFF is a pretty convenient size in its existing case.

i just bought a 7050 SFF with the 50% discount. Added 32gb mem for total of 40gb plus Radeon R7 450 4gb ddr5 mem video card. it works very well and fast for its size. Great little desk pc . I love it.

Ah that's what you mean, I had thought you're still using their service. I tried out Arch on it, was too slow compared to other devices I have left over that can run linux, so I gave up on it.
