Could've just been a one off. If you didnt, you shouldve asked for a refund and tried another AMC.

I own the 4K of Maverick, but I'm very tempted to go back and watch it again on the big screen for the 3rd time.

That would have been kinda funny actully, I never had that happen, something to remember. I miss the old days of having the film get stuck in the projector and you start to see what looks like a cigarette burn mark on the screen and then whole screen burns and the screen turns white. Then your sitting there waiting for someone to repair it if they can, or they come in and give everyone free passes.

I did ask for a refund. Same thing happened when I saw black atom at the same AMC in a different theater.

I know, it's not the same thing, but a few of these are available on select streaming services too. Maybe some are better seen on the big screen? Although $5 is not a bad price for something to do to get out of the house.

Once we had the projector fail so the movie was a bit delayed. They ended up getting it to work finally. We all got to watch the movie and afterwards they handed out free passes for a future movie.

I saw Crouching Tiger when it first came out at the Camera 1 theatre in San Jose, with a sold out crowd. One of the greatest moviegoing experiences of my life!
