Does that $289 include the price of the service? If that's the all in price, and I can get this deal, take the phone and use it on my Verizon line and pay nothing further to Mint, then that's a great deal. If not and I'm on the hook for an additional service cost to Mint, then it isn't worth it.
Includes the plan…. Check the link

I have a Oneplus 9 that I haven't used yet. Would it be worth it to get this and sell the Oneplus. Is this phone a lot better?

I have a Pixel 6a now. I was looking at the Tensor vs Tensor G2 and seemed like there wasn't much difference.

Is it worth upgrading to the Pixel 7 and possibly selling my 6a for something?
NO, only if your switching to the 7 PRO its worth it

Sounds like it's carrier unlocked as you mentioned. Any idea whether it's bootloader unlockable? (Ie. Can it be rooted?)

Not sure about this specific Google Pixel phone. But....

Mint Mobile use Tmobile network.

And based on history of Tmobile variant of Pixel phone, if the phone is carrier unlock, then likely the bootloader is unlocked. while Verizon phone are usually carrier unlocked form the get-go but very rarely bootloader unlock on the Verizon variant.

https://forum.xda-developers.com/...s.4350051/

So the next question is are we SURE this phone is carrier unlock?

On the checkout page it says "Must bring your phone number to Mint". Does that mean you *must* port in your number, or in order to use their SIM, they won't give you a new number, you have to port your own?

Anyone tried the e-sim? I would like to send the e-sim to my friend coming to states later this month so he can use it right off the plane. And I will just keep the phone. Any idea how long is the shipping to Orlando? Thanks!

You are still getting the phone for $289.

That's the most discounted price for any Pixel 7 deal so far.

I checked out fine without porting. I just get 6 month free instead of 12 month.
Are you saying when you order the phone/SIM, you have to order the plan that is 6 month ONLY and don't require porting? Meaning DON'T get the 12 months port-in plan and get the 6 month plan new phone number plan instead if such option exist which I don't see it(?)

As mentioned, in the previous 7 Pro deal, if you ordered the port-in plan SIM, when you use their APP or go to their activation site to activate your SIM card (for the port-in plan), you put in the activation code. And if you follow the process, you are FORCED to port in a number. I don't see anywhere in the APP or website to skip that step(???) So how can someone activate on their activation site or APP without porting in a number (with the port-in plan SIM)?

There is footnote in the activate page say if you need other kind of SIM (I assume mean don't port in), you need to get another PLAN (new phone number plan) or something...

Upgraded from Pixel 3 XL to 6a (which I returned) to 7 256GB, love it, best decision ever.

Why did I return the Pixel 6a? I'm glad you asked, at the time BB had it for $299 which I thought was an amazing deal then the Pixel 7 was released shortly thereafter, so I returned the 6a.

May be around 2 months (not 100% sure). They will send you email reminder the last day you can activate the plan.
