Also most of the pictures on the site are for the Carbon (the more "expensive") model, which is very misleading.

Use it almost every day for 20-40min, over 1000 miles traveled and it's fine for the price.
definitely wouldn't recommend at full price.
For anyone who runs or has an average built (around 5'6" and above) should be looking for 20 x 55 at a minimum or a 20 x 60. The Horsepower on this is decently 2.5 CHP which means the motor will be able to run at 2.5 HP continuously to provide good sustainable running and withstand good usage.
I used to sell treadmills at Sears 12 years ago and the thing about this Proform brand for this price is it used to be this price back 17 years ago to another 5 years that I worked when On sale. Regularly it was around $499.99. The main difference back then was the motor was around 1.5 HP and you get a powerful motor in this treadmill.
Nordictrack becomes a higher end of proform made equipments. And sole became a Mercedes in the Sears store where there were just about 3 brands for such equipment before they added Schwinn to their bike lineups.
This is OK deal for this price but I would rather look for a wider and a longer tread belt for what I do is running.
