Even watches on the higher end of the spectrum often won't go up to 300m yet id still trust those, especially under warranty. This will be fine for 99% of people. Unless someone opened their watch and didn't properly reseat the seals and gaskets, or buys some random watch where they just simply slapped a meter rating on the dial, there should be no issue. If someone is serious about diving they would never look at something like this to begin with. There is a reason why true divers often also mention things like bar rating.
