4k causes a big hit to battery life and a lot of people don't use touch (many laptops also come with annoying glossy screens if touch).

The biggest downside is 11th gen Intel which is not as efficient as 12th gen or AMD. Also not sure if this model has the USB C charging port problem fixed.

Well, because it is thin and light. I prefer light weight over a gaming GPU. And especially for Linux users, don't have to worry about discrete graphics. No discrete GPU is a selling point for some.

I wouldn't. It might play at low settings at 720p or something. Check out the FP deal for the MicroCenter gaming laptop with the GTX 3050 for like 699. That's a way better gaming machine. This is a business thin-and-light. Made to be tougher, more portable, etc.

That said, for those considering this, this is the gen1 of the device. Arguably preferable to gen2 as it has the more efficient CPU series, but gen3 is releasing next month and these (or the gen2 machines if you need more power) should be falling in price this/next month.
