If time permitted, I'd grow the corn, wheat, raise some cows, chickens, and churn my own butter, but having 3 kids and working 50+ a week doesn't allow that,so I'll just stick with the damn convenience of what I stated above.
Have a great Sunday!
Then again, apparently everyone should be making their own preworkout mixes too.
I wish I had the free time these people do.

This. Plus... it is so much better tasting. I make mine with buttermilk--so I leave a container of the ultra pasteurized buttermilk in the fridge at all times. The expiration date is many weeks from the purchase date, and even then it is a suggested use by date. Seems like it lasts forever. Makes for so much of a lighter more delicious cornbread than a mix possibly could.
I don't understand why you'd think that people should take the time to purchase, store, and organize multiple ingredients if they ever want to bake something.

Maybe it is, maybe it isn't, but what I can tell you is putting this easy, rip open packet into a bowl with milk eggs and butter is so damn easy. Convenience, my friend, that's the keyword.

I am certainly tempted to take the easy route and get the mix and I hope the corn is good corn.
