How does that work? Doesn't it kick one of them off?
If you have two switches, things are a lot more simpler. In your primary switch, create another profile and always play with that profile, that's it. Nobody will ever kick anyone else.
If you have 3 or more switches, as soon as you get in pass the "checking if the software can be played", turn in the airplane mode

It just does a check at start if it's not the primary Switch on the account. So kid #1 who is on the primary switch starts the game (wifi mode is off). Then kid #2 starts the game on the non-primary switch on the account with wifi on. Nintendo goes out to check and make sure the primary switch isn't already playing it online, which it's not, so it passes the check and can play. My kids don't really ever play online, so they can play any single player game we have both at the same time on the couch with only 1 digital copy. It's saved tons of fights since they don't have to argue over who gets the cartridge! Plus there's no cartridge to lose so it's a win-win.

Hope that helps.

Digital version can be highly beneficial if you have two kids each with their own switch. With digital they can each play on their own switch at the same time with only one digital copy. Can't do that with physical. Just something to consider Smilie
This is true. But a down side is you can never re-sell the digital game. Nintendo has a great resale value. Most used games are often only $5 cheaper the new

Super Mario U Deluxe was very difficult for me (pesky fish levels). Is this game any easier?

I haven't played Super Mario U Deluxe. I thought both games were playable. And Bowser's Fury is a really fun new release that's not too difficult.

Got this for $29.99 + tax with code PICKUP10OFF and using an Amazon locker location for pickup, as was suggested in the Luigi's Mansion 3 post. Weird cuz I'm pretty sure I've used that code before but it still worked

Perfectly fine for my situation. My kids still go back to Mario kart, Luigi's mansion, and Mario Odyssey among others years later.

However if you're a single gamer just looking to beat the game and sell it then I agree, there's no reason to buy digital in that case.

And they both don't get to take it to friends houses and lose it, multiple times. Wink
