Since I recently purchased the 85" Q90 series from a prior SD, and with support for Q-Symphony, I gave it a shot as I could use this elsewhere if I did not like it.
I put the wireless rears (just requires power) on the bar separating the kitchen/LR, and put in the new Top Gun which I had not seen. After the first 15 minutes, shut everything off and ripped out all of my Yamaha equipment and the myriad of wires. This is not an exaggeration.
IT. SOUNDS. THAT. GOOD.
You can configure the soundbar so that the "rear" speakers are actually in front (just swap left/right). That will be my semi-permanent solution once I find nice stands to put them on (suggestions welcome). It's easy enough to move behind when I want to experience another movie of that caliber.
