Highly recommended. Been looking for a deal on the Kindle version. While this book is aimed at business topics, the concepts fall in line with similar challenges in the tech field.

There's an example of a company losing money because their warehouses are allowing their workers to buy their own gloves and get reimbursed. You can parallel that to a software system that doesn't reuse code to handle common tasks. The solution outlined in the book can be paralleled with implementing certain design patterns in software development.

Perhaps I am mixing up glove stories but wasn't that in another one of their books "switch"?

Both great books though

I don't have a Kindle, but Thumbs Up to the OP for reminding me to get this on Audible. I had a credit to burn up and forgot I wanted to read this. Thanks!

So better to issue lower quality gloves to workers than having them choose the best one that fit their needs? Or is it a cheaper in bulk solution?

I was considering reading this book but it's either going to stick around or maybe not. Who knows?
