This is a pretty typical price for this model and not the lowest it has been. Not really a slick deal considering the alternatives.

On top of that, this is just a weird product and I'm not sure what niche they were trying to fit. It has a combination of features but doesn't really excel in any of them. Somewhere between a ubiquitous injector and an 8 port 802.3af switch, considering it has 4x 802.3at ports but only 802.3af power budget, so you can't utilize the ports to their potential.

a while back I paid $40 after $10 pick up location coupon, so this is a decent price.

i have a couple of these in use with POE PTZ day/night cameras with POE extractors. one for each main corner of the house. one camera is even 100' out in the backyard. what this will not POE power is remote router/switch/ap.

They're OK for what they are. I have one behind one of their point-to-point APs in an outbuilding where I have several cams and an IR emitter mounted. Handles that fine even with all IR on. Cheap and good enough.
