While buying a ticket from Delta, I received an offer pop-up during the checkout flow for $400 off Delta tickets purchased in the next 6 months, plus 50k points after $3k spend on a new Amex Delta Gold card. Worth checking out, since I think it's a better value offer.

Do you know if tye flight has to be $400 + for the credit to show up?

No they are straight Delta miles, not Amex points. So whatever you can book using the delta website.

Their system will identify you before the credit inquiry. I forget the exact language, but you will get a pop up that says something like: you are not eligible for this offer, do you still want to submit the application?

I didn't log in and after selecting a flight, but before putting in any personal info I was offered this:
