Yeah I hate (at my airport):
Largest selection of destinations by an insanely huge margin.
Best on time performance.
Always on a 737, never a regional jet nor turbo prop.
2 free checked bags per passenger.
Same day flight changes for a-list.

Yeah, southwest really is the worst...

says the trips have to be booked within a window... so if you booked a ticket in Feb, for example, it wouldn't count because the window for the promo is 3/1. So, you'd need to rebook ... might luck out too, some flights are cheaper.

Do not re-book! Activate the promotion and call Southwest and tell them to rebook it for you instead. They will honor whatever the price you had purchase the tickets before.

I actually just flew Southwest on the west coast recently and had a great experience with them. I had a few delays of 30 mins to 1 hour but still made my connections just fine, some of my flights actually arrived and departed early and got me to my destination earlier than expected.

The best thing about Southwest though is I don't have to step near a CRJ, if United had to punish their customers, just stuff them on a CRJ and the punishment will be greatly and swiftly served.
