I bought the white one for myself and now my wife wants one for her car. I noticed they have the black one with a coupon code now. If you look at the photos, you will see the white one in my pickup. It works very well with the magsafe case. Make sure you use a high-quality charger (cable is supplied)

Great deal for this type of vent mount. I bought a similar clip system where it holds itself at the back of the vent and I can attest this is a sturdier option. Main thing I would look for is if this does hold the phone on the other end. If the magnets and clip strong enough.

Most magsafe magnets are not strong enough for car use. Only the latest ESR model HaloLock series is probably most capable.

Good price. I never have any luck with vent mounts. Might be just my bad luck, even when I buy "quality". I finally got a windshield mount, though I avoided them for years.

Gotcha. The only car mount I have is an ESR Halolock and that thing is solid! I just assumed all magsafe mounts were just as strong. (also have an ESR Halolock case)

It says it's incompatible with a standard, non MagSafe case. I am wondering why? Wireless charging should work, side grip will hold the phone. The only inconvenience is a correct positioning.
Any thoughts?

Did you try it with a standard case?
They probably just can't guarantee compatibility with non-MagSafe cases because they come in all shapes, sizes, and thicknesses. It would probably still work with a thin case, at least that's my guess.

I got the white one last week. Included clamp doesn't work on my 2008 Honda Accord. They emailed me before I even got the item and mentioned the provided clamp may not work. I reached out and they are sending an additional clamp based on the picture I sent them of my vent. We'll see if this one works.

Side note. I have an older wireless charger that attaches with a suction cup on my dashboard. The joyroom charger is compatible and would probably be compatible with a similar device that uses the "ball" attachment such as this one.
