A few months ago I made my first purchase from this website, based off glowing reviews from the commenters. Oddly enough, my first purchase was a bad hard drive! (Or maybe not odd and people here are just getting really lucky?) Inserting the hard drive just kept rebooting my system, and they told me to return it. The return process was really easy, however, and they really stood by their product. I felt confident enough that I got another hard drive after that incident and the new one has been working flawlessly.

Solid deal, thanks. I've bought so many of these over the past 6 months and had zero issues so far. I'll never shuck another WD drive again.

I bought 4 x 12TB from this seller about six weeks ago. Shipped fast. Packaged VERY WELL. No tax. And they're running great.

Picked up a few of these during the last deal a few months ago. Black Friday? Great site, great shipping, and NO TAX! Which is a huge saver. There was a code that could be used if it was your first time buying from them before, not sure if it would still work. It was LINCOLN5 or something? Something-5.

Yeah, buying drives this way is a no brainer, especially considering I pay 11% sales tax and don't have to deal with E-waste and the lame SATA power pin.

Are these noisy? I have a Synology with a WD from an Easystore and that's not too loud.

Very loud according to amazon reviews. It's enterprise, meaning they are meant to be in a server room or nas..I need a 3.5 for my personal desktop, so not loud and not this.

Don't buy Seagate, let along recertified/refurbished. Good luck.
Seagate consumer drives used to be pretty bad not sure about now, but most enterprise grade drives are much better when it comes to reliability

Well, if you buy 2 (or even just one) you can easily have a NAS. All you need is a spare PC and to load up OMV/TrueNAS/unraid/whatever.
Boom, Done.

i don't have an old desktop that has enough bays to hold them, only some old laptops. i'll wait for a deal of a 2-bay qnap or something.

they're definitely my noisest drives... but a non-issue since my home server is in an isolated room.
