I'm just laughing at the original MSRP price of $719.99. I don't believe this is worth more over a $100 price increase vs the 6650 XT version.

You get the last of us part 1 with purchase of a 7000 or 6000 series card. Think I might bite soon on a 6700xt.

I'm not trying to knock the deal but this actually appears to be the "Mech" version of this card. The "Gaming" version has a metal backplate. Amazon has Gaming in the product listing title but shows a picture of the Mech retail packaging. I'm not sure how much value the metal backplate adds but assume it would slightly improve cooling.

Generally speaking the 6700xt can get you 60fps at 1080p ultra with reasonable 1% lows. But at 2k you will notice more shuttering and more lows. Don't even ask about 4k. I would recommend a 6750xt/3070 at 2k ultra for the smoothest experience.

So it seems, the midrange stayed about the same or slightly higher, but the higher end cards like the 6800 series prices went up quite a bit compared to last year.

It really depends on your CPU as well. I have Ryzen 5600 with 6700xt. Usually get 70-100+ fps on Elden ring max setting. It's really not a bad deal if you are compare with Nvidia equivalent card (3060ti or 3070).
