South Korean cinema is top tier, a lot of good titles are notoriously hard to rent or stream in America, so if you ever see a "buy" price of $5 for a good movie, my advice is to pull the trigger. That's pretty much the rental price anyways.
Also for anyone else who might be looking for good Korean movies, hoopla and Kanopy actually have a pretty good catalog, you just need to link your library card
This movie is from the same director as "Parasite," which won best picture a few years back. If you don't mind foreign language films, it's a good movie. I would recommend renting rather than buying as you probably won't watch this movie more than once.

But Bong Joon Ho's movies should be watched twice, even this one!
It's an amazing film! Ostensibly a murder mystery, it's really a story that addresses systematic class divisions as effectively as Parasite!

For $5 though, why not buy it and watch it anytime you want? It's $3.79 to rent on Amazon.

I first saw it on Hulu. Y'all must see it if it's still available.

Edit: I just noticed that the 2nd image is Memoir of a Murderer. That shouldn't be there!
