1. Misleading marketing gimmicks: advertise 50g of protein for 2 scoops when they can just show 25g of protein for one scoop.
2. Playing by their rules, you get 50g of protein for every 82g serving which results in an abysmal 60.9% protein and 39.1% filler.
3. The second ingredient is maltodextrin. It is a cheap and highly processed filler made from simple carbs such as corn/wheat/potato or whatever increases the manufacturer's profit margins the most. This is what accounts for the 18g of carbs per serving. Maltodextrin spikes your blood sugar faster and higher than regular table sugar. Those sensitive to blood glucose need to watch out for this filler in other foods and protein powders.
Bottom line, this is a subpar protein product loaded with fillers. I would avoid and consider cleaner protein powder brands. Make sure you read the ingredients label, and calculate grams of protein per serving size in grams.

Just to point out, if it was not clear from this post, that maltodextrin is a carbohydrate.
From Wikipedia:
Maltodextrin is easily digestible, being absorbed as rapidly as glucose [wikipedia.org] and may be either moderately sweet [wikipedia.org] or almost flavorless (depending on the degree of polymerisation [wikipedia.org]).
When you account for protein content, do they really cost more?

Hard to drink and I still have some from my 12-pack that I ordered 6 months ago.
The scoops are much bigger than ON and hence require more liquid to mix. The powder is also extremely fine, like dust. So much of it gets dispersed while dispensing.
Honestly I feel ripped off buying this stuff. Its total trash. I tried Dymatize. It was ok, better than this garbage. But ON still come out on top for solubility. Just wish ON was not as expensive.

Weird thing is a few months ago I got a 2lb tub of the Pro series chocolate and thought it was great. It mixed well and tasted decent. Then there was a deal on the exact same thing in 5lb bag and I got it and it was exactly how you described-- hard to mix, clumps up in cold liquid, very fine and gets everywhere. It didn't taste bad, but it wasn't as good as the 2lb tub. I'm not sure why they were so different.
As much as i like ON ...looks like it has Sucralose which is not good for your gut in long term .
TIA !
