I just got mine tonight after ordering one during last week's post for the same deal.
The speaker is sweet, but honestly for the size of it, I thought it would be louder. It's huge!
Maybe I'm just old and going deaf.
No complaints though, it sounds nice.
As a random fyi/.. if you use this you can connect this speaker to a usb c PW hub (45w+) and can use it without bringing the power brick. Great for backyards etc and gives you full power . Just add a power bank !
Great speaker, great price. I have two of them. You can string up to 100 of them together. The batteries usually go out within the one to two years so this is probably one with a fresh battery :-)
How does this compare to the jbl partybox 100? I bought the partybox to connect Bluetooth to an Amazon fire tablet in my garage but I hate that it powers off to save power even when plugged in
I have one that's about 2 years old that started turning off randomly on its own even when plugged into the wall. It's been plugged Into the wall and rarely ever used over the past few years on battery. Is it possible a 2 year old battery that was rarely ever used would cause this even when plugged into wall? I've used it almost everyday for 2 years. Love it.

Not necessarily true. I have had two for 4 years and they both hold a charge. I won't fill your brain with nonsense and say that they hold a charge that rivals a brand new one, but there is some resilience. I do agree with the sound, tho. Put baby in a corner and she belts out some noise.

Try taking the battery out. Can't hurt to try, assuming it's possible at all.
Tried replacing a 10 year old Bose Sounddock with this speaker but unfortunately the volume of this speaker is underwhelming for its size. It's good for basic solo music listening but if you plan on using it for a party in a larger area, you will be disappointed.

Try putting it in a corner of a room. Bass picks up considerably.
